On this page I’m sharing a portfolio of the projects I have been working on since September 2025, including projects beyond paid assignments.
My portfolio stretches from keynotes [1] until consultancy work: Universal Design [2] /user centered design, responsible AI [3], assistive technology/innovations, social accessibility [4] & communication, until transposition the UN CRPD [5], [6], [7] in to policy/business practices[8], [9].
My non-paid assignments contribute to the development of the accessibility profession. and keep up with new developments within accessibility.
Deepdive into Meta-Glasses as AT (2026)
Non-paid - looking for funding!
Contributing to the development of the accessibility profession:
In August 2026 I responded in a LinkedIn article with my worries concerning the Meta-Glasses as assistive technology (AT) for people with a disability. This initial article was about the breach into EU privacy legislation using the accessibility angle, in response to concerns raised on privacy by public organizations on women rights and politicians.
It continued in various publications, both in Dutch as in English addressing the privacy risk of this AI driven tool provided by a Big Tech. Because the feature for making the Meta-Glasses assistive technology highly depends on endless data collected by people with visual disabilities. My articles warn users and interest groups on this topic.
Currently in search of funding for extensive research how we can utilize this technology in a safe version instead of exchanging privacy for accessibiity – in case interested contact me today!

Disability Inclusion in F&C (2026)
This is an additional approach sharing advice in an accessible low-cost format for those without budget for accessibility consultancy – which in practice are those new to the roles or disability advocates within businesses.
Disability Inclusion in F&C is a series of longreads on Substack with dedicated consultancy advice. This paid service provided valuable lessons for people working on accessibility, those new in accessibility roles in business, and policy makers who find themselves impacted by accessibility or disability related challenges.

Ervaring Spreekt (2025 - today)
Since October 2025 I have been working with speakers agency Ervaring Sreekt. This is a speakers agency for experienced speakers on a variety of social topics. My contribution: keynote speaker, and consultant supporting the growth of the speakers agency.
Research (2026)
Non-paid - to the development of the accessibility profession.
1) Contribution for UD26 in Ireland. For this Universal Design conference, I worked with Professor of Design Per-Olof Hedvall at Mid Sweden University on "The User Paradigm" a paper comparing three design approaches for accessibility. The paper is selected for the conference and will be published shortly.
2) I wrote a Dutch white paper for disability inclusive entrepreneurship. The White Paper Disability Inclusion in Self-employment explains why current legal proposal does not support Article 27 of the UN CRPD and explains the obligation of Article 5 improving law up living Disability Rights in The Netherlands.
Coalitie voor Inlcusie (2026)
Non-paid
In the summer of 2026, I worked with Coalitie voor Inclusie – the Duth interest group promoting the UN CRPD on a response on the European Disability Card.
My contribution was dedicated to addressing the importance of inclusive language, defining the card as accommodation instead of favoring the disability community.

Stichting Het Gehandicapte Kind (2026)
In Q1 2026 I worked on the project: From knowledge driven to experience centered advocacy.
This foundation representing children, adolescence, and young people with disabilities. The foundation aims to develop itself to become a stronger representation of the disability community. I am consulting them how to reach this goal, researching an analyzing current policies and culture.
Book: Disability Inclusion = Shared Responsibility (2025)
On December 3rd 2025, I published Disability Inclusion = Shared Responsibility my book on Disability Models and my approach towards accessibility and disability inclusion in finance and corporate.

Stichting AntiDiscriminatieKeurmerk (2025)
Project: The first Dutch anti-discrimination standard
In the period of February 2025 till October 2025 I contributed to the development of the first Dutch Anti-discrimination Standard. This Standard aims to support organizations in the elimination of discrimination in all forms, including persons with disabilities. Our scope included direct, indirect, implicit, unintended and systemic forms of discrimination in organisations for both customers and employees.
